WHAT WE
ACTUALLY DO.
Production judgment is the work that decides a print job between the inbound RFQ and the loading dock. These six disciplines shape every job before plates go on press.
01
Spec normalization & Risk review
We read the RFQ against the intended outcome and actual vendor capabilities, then resolve the mismatches that would otherwise travel into the quote or onto press.
02
MANUFACTURING STRATEGY & SOURCING
We source across paper, print, bindery, specialty finishing, lettershop, fulfillment, and freight according to the job, not a captive floor or automatic vendor rotation.
03
COMPETITIVE BID VALIDATION
We compare scope, materials, assumptions, exclusions, schedule, freight, and production method so the numbers being compared describe the same job.
04
PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
We build the production sequence, coordinate suppliers and approvals, manage versioning and milestones, and keep the project aligned to the required delivery or in-home date.

FROM A JOB WE RAN THIS SPRING
MOST PRINTERS WOULD HAVE RUN IT.
THE CATCH
A recent job called for a foil-stamped cover. The bids were in, and the most competitive printer was ready to go. On the quote, everything checked out. What the quote didn't show: that press runs conventional inks, and conventional ink doesn't cure fast enough for foil to bond to it. Sent there, the foil would have lifted right off the finished cover.
We caught it before the job was placed and moved it to a press that seals the ink under a clear coat that cures on contact — so the foil grips and holds. Every printer in the running could run the job. Only one could run it right.
Capability runs the job.
Judgment is what makes it right.
Senior Judgment On Every Job
DECADES OF FAMILY PRINT EXPERTISE. NONE OF IT CAPTIVE TO A SINGLE PRESS.
Lillich Litho was founded in 2020. The production judgment behind it was developed over decades inside a print family: how to read the work, interrogate the specifications, select the right manufacturing path, and know which details can change the outcome.
Clients work directly with the principals responsible for estimating, vendor selection, production oversight, and final sign-off. That means fewer handoffs, clear accountability, and senior attention where the job is most exposed.
